Het Laatste Nieuws has an article about the American tour. The reporter went to see dEUS in San Francisco. Although the tour isn't a big commercial succes (they play small venues, for mostly Belgian and Dutch expats) Tom says it's the best tour ever (but he probably means the whole Pocket Revolution-tour). They had some great parties after the gigs too. One of the roadies called dEUS the heaviest group after Happy Mondays.

The gig supporting Snow Patrol was very good. It was an excellent occassion to play their music for an almost complete American audience. The singer of Snow Patrol said during the concert that Worst Case Scenario is one of the best rock-albums ever.

Average audience is 300 people during the American tour. They won't make any profit, but if it's up to Tom they come back in September. He also wants to play Ljubljana.

I was at that SF show - my first time seeing dEUS. I'm a great fan of The Frames, and a fellow Frames fan in Ireland introduced me to dEUS a couple of months back (seems all Irish Frames fans are also dEUS fans). dEUS was absolutely amazing - blew Snow Patrol off the stage, in fact I left after a couple of SP songs. They just couldn't measure up to the mighty dEUS. Maybe dEUS and the Frames can tour America together this autumn. That would be a show to see!!
