Bert Anciaux, Flemish minster of Culture, is considering financial support for Belgian bands when they are asked to tour (as a support act) with bigger bands as The Rolling Stones or Coldplay.

Anciaux recently supported Kate Ryan, the Belgian participant for the Eurovision Song Contest, with a 60.000 euro fund for a European promocampaign. dEUS-manager Christian Pierre told Gazet Van Antwerpen that Ryan deserved that kind of support, but he had some doubts about the amount of money: ,,We're talking about the same amount of money for the dEUS-tour in the States. But we're paying ten people who work 14 hours a day. That's probably more expensive than a playback on tv."
