Two words to describe yesterdays' AB-show: great gig! It's too early to call it the best dEUS-show I've ever seen, but it's definitely in my top 5. They started at 20.30 hours and played for about 1 hour and 50 minutes.
No big suprises. The setlist was comparable to other gigs during this tour. The played mainly the new album and a couple of classics.
It was the first time I saw the new line-up live (yeah, I missed the Mezz-concerts last years due to illness) and I must say: it's probably the best live line-up. Mauro was cool, doing nice backing vocals on Instant Street for example and Alan was more inspired then Danny (for example in Fell Off The Floor, Man).
They looked a bit nervous in the beginning and they had some troubles with the sound (Tom's voice from time to time drowned in the wall of sound).
One surprise: they did play 7 days, 7 weeks (something they skipped during previous concerts). Tom apologised for his voice (tired, he said) and that's probably the reason why they didn't cross the line of a two hour concert.
The only thing I'm disappointed about was the lack of enthusiasm from the crowd. There was some cheering in between the songs, but there's were almost no people dancing or so. There was a small pitt during Suds & Soda, but that's all.
