This weeks Humo has an interview with Connie Palmen. She will host Zomergasten, the tv-show that welcomes Tom Barman on July 31st. She tells the list of fragments Tom has chosen is fantastic. She and Tom have the some favourite movie: The Elephant Man by David Lynch. VPRO wasn't allowed to broadcast it, so Tom picked Bad Timing, as I told you earlier today.

Palmen didn't know Tom very well. She met him once at an anniversary party for Hugo Claus. She likes the way Tom sings, but dislikes the wall of sound a lot of dEUS-songs end with.
