I received an interesting mail from Dennis yesterday evening. He has made a torrent-file of a demo-tape from the The Ideal Crash-sessions in 1998. It contains 5 songs, including early demo-versions of Instant Street, Sam Peckinpah's Daughter and Sister Dew. Too titles on the tape have made their way in other versions: Snuck Out became Magdalena and Sixth & The Last became One Advice, Space.

Apparently the gig at the Cabaret Vert-festival last saturday was cancelled because of problems with Tom's voice.

dEUS.be has confirmed a bunch of dates in Dublin, Manchester and Spain. dEUS will play Dublin on October 13th, Manchester on October 14th. Four shows in Spain are scheduled as well. The Spanish tour kicks off in Santiago on October 23rd, then hits Madrid on October 24th, Valencia on October 25th & finally Barcelona on the 26st.

It's not clear what will happen with the Dublin-gig that was scheduled for October 14th (and confirmed on the dEUS podcast)

The venue for the gig in London has also been changed. dEUS will play the Koko instead of the (larger) Forum.

There's an interview with Tom about the Filmfestival in Oostende in Het Nieuwsblad today (available online here). He talks about the fact is not really following new movie (and music) releases. He had to choose 10 movies for the festival and selected 10 comedies because he once read an interview with Sean Penn who said there's too few comedy on filmfestivals.
